Found-item reports and location
When you report a find we store the serial number, the date found, the latitude and longitude you entered and the time of submission. We do not ask for your name, email or address. Coordinates are accessible only to authorised store admins and are not included in the page address or in analytics.
To prevent abuse, a one-way hash of your connection address is kept briefly to limit repeated attempts. It is deleted automatically after about two days.
Optional email and Instagram details
On the report form you may add an email address and/or Instagram username. Both are optional and not needed to register a find. We use them only to contact you about your find and, if you tick the matching box, for promotions: promotional email if you opt in to email, and Instagram contact only if you opt in and we later set up messaging approved by Instagram. Boxes are never pre-ticked. The footer newsletter collects an email only with your explicit opt-in.
We record when and under which version of this notice you gave consent. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw either permission at any time on our unsubscribe page. Contact details and coordinates are visible only to authorised store admins, are never shown publicly and are not sold.
